The season of Spring 2011 brought along many new trends for us to play with. Some were not as favorable as others while others were must have pieces for the coming summer. One trend that truly caught my eye was the infamous fanny pack. This season we saw the likes of Gucci, Prada and Marc Jacobs send their male models down the runway with different renditions of the alleged accessory that was a trademark piece of the 80’s. 

Reaching the peak of it’s popularity back then, the bag has slowly made a come back in womenswear the past few years and is slowly trickling into menswear. I personally have been on a hunt for my own personal fanny pack, one that resembles the Marc Jacobs version as I see it as the most wearable and modern looking (sorry Gucci, Prada). I hope to find it soon…
